Command & Conquer 3 map installation

Playing Command & Conquer 3 can be fun but after a while it becomes a bore (if you have finished all the missions, that is), so the next logical step is to turn to the Skirmish feature where you can play against the game’s AI with the default maps installed. The default maps may not satisfy you so you can always download and install new map packs for the game. Here is a step-by-step guide on how you can do so.

1. Download a new map pack, like from here for example http://www….s-otc.html.

2. Extract contents of the .zip file to the following folder:

C:\Documents and Settings\[USER LOGIN NAME]\Application Data\Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\Maps\

For Windows Vista Users, extract contents of the .zip file to the following:

C:\Users\[USER LOGIN NAME]\AppData\Roaming\Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\Maps\

If you have any problems installing the C&C3 maps, make sure the files are extracted before being placed in the folder mentioned above. Now load the game and enjoy your new maps!
